Those attending certainly enjoy coming together and any new members would be made most welcome. One meeting each month we have tea or juice to try and stimulate our minds! Several games and entertainment evenings are also arranged throughout the Session. These evenings are enjoyed by all.

The Worship Group

In 2003 the Minister set up a Worship Group within Prestwick South Parish Church. The formation of such a group was in response to the decline in numbers entering the Ministry. Indeed, it appears likely that in future more and more lay people will have to be involved in leading worship.

The Worship Group was also set up to allow those interested in leading worship the opportunity to share their talents with the Congregation. Since 2003 the Church has greatly benefited from the contribution made by members of the Worship Group.

If you are interested in finding out more about this Group then please speak to the Minister.

Leader: Rev Kenneth Elliott

The Bible Study Group

The group meet in the Vestry on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month starting in October.  Meetings start at 7.30pm and are very informal.  A Bible passage is read and discussed for about an hour; everyone is free to say as much or as little as they want.  The meeting ends with a cup of tea or coffee and a time of fellowship.

Everyone is welcome whether they come to one meeting or every meeting.
